The publication consists of photographs taken by Rajkowska in Istanbul’s Asian quarter, Üsküdar (Scutari), and a text by Sebastian Cichocki. The photos depict dogs making themselves at home in the municipal cemetery and the text is based on a legend about rounding up dogs in Istanbul and taking them to one of the Princes’ Islands in the Sea of Marmara.
The entire print run is signed by Joanna Rajkowska and Sebastian Cichocki. Fifty of the books were distributed together with photographs.
