Edward Hartwig, Pieniny (1966)

A travel album showing the natural world and tourist attractions of the Pienin Mountains, which lie in southern Poland and northern Slovakia. The photographic images are laid out in an expressive series, filling entire pages and the centrefolds. There are numerous striking shots depicting landscapes with the dynamic angles and close-ups which are a characteristic feature of Hartwig’s work.
