Edward Hartwig, Tematy fotograficzne (1978)

This book, together with “Wariacje fotograficzne” (Photographic Variations), which was published the same year, rounds off Hartwig’s artistic photography programme. A thematically diverse album showing advanced formal experimentation with rasterising and photomontage, it is Hartwig’s first publication which is clearly retrospective in nature. The conversation with him that is published as the introduction to the album underscores this.
