A retrospective album of selected, black-and-white landscape photographs by Hartwig, rounded out with colour photos from his late works. It is a synthesis of his formal experiments within the tradition of homeland photography. The photographs are carefully compiled, both editorially and graphically, albeit it atypically in comparison with his earlier publications.
