“A picture of Krakow, drawn with heart and lens (...)”, as Hermanowicz himself wrote in his own dedication to what is one of the best photo albums of Krakow in artistic and editorial terms. It contains one hundred and sixty of his photographs in vertical format, presenting fragments of the architecture of historical Krakow and the life of the city playing out against its background. The depictions are picturesque and romantic, but also modern.
There are six editions of the album. The last one came out in 1982. They differ from each other in terms of the selection of photos, the covers, the printing technique and the format.
