A propagandist album recording one of the largest post-war recreational developments in Poland, the Silesian Cultural and Leisure Park. Now known as Silesia Park, it is located on the borders of two cities, Chorzów and Katowice. The book, which is organised in chapters devoted to different parts of the park, contains photographs of architectural objects, flora, fauna and people enjoying themselves and relaxing. Colour photos predominate.
Other albums devoted to the Silesian Cultural and Leisure Park had previously been published in 1959 and 1963.
