The album is Uklański’s own choice of colour and black-and-white documentary and creative photographs. Taken between 2015 and 2018, they are symbolically connected to the eponymous “Polska” (Poland). They were shot not only in Poland, but also in Ukraine, France and the USA and are juxtaposed with excerpts of poetry and snippets of utterances heard by the artist. The album presents his own vision of contemporary Poland and, in form, it alludes to the propaganda-heavy Polish tourist publications of the twentieth century.
