Anna Chojnacka was born in 1914 in Silesia, in the city of Sosnowiec and she died in the nearby city of Katowice in 2007. She joined the ZPAF in 1958 and was an active member of the organisation. The author of numerous exhibitions and photographic series, including “Wśród plastyków śląskich” (Among Silesia’s Visual Artists; 1962), she specialised in cultural themes, social documentation and Polish travel photography.
