The album documents the outdoor theatrical productions which took place from 1972 to 1979 in Krakow, at the foot of Wawel hill, one of Poland’s most significant historical sites. The photographs, which are mainly in colour and are primarily nocturnes, are interwoven with fragments of writings by playwright, painter and designer Stanisław Wyspiański. The visual expression of the whole is determined by the poor quality colour polygraphy.
