Ferdynand Goetel, Polska (1938)

A monumental, meticulously designed travel album portraying iconic landscapes, historical sites and modern developments in the Poland of the nineteen thirties. The photographs, which were selected by Ferdynand Goetel, came from the collection of the Ministry of Transport’s Tourism Department. The photographers were the leading travel photography specialists at the time. The ministry acquired photos from them for promotional and propaganda purposes.
