An album of poetry by Władysław Broniewski, dedicated to the Mazovian lake district in north-east Poland and illustrated with landscape photographs by Hermanowicz. To begin with, the book was compiled by the poet and photographer working together, but it was finished and published after Broniewski died in 1962. A romantic study of Mazovia’s landscapes, it adheres to the pictorial style.
