Witold Krassowski, Powidoki z Polski (2009)

Krassowski’s own selection of photographs documenting the onset of transformation triggered by the collapse of communism in Poland forms a panorama of the country in the nineteen nineties. The black-and-white photos are divided into fourteen thematic chapters, including Elections 1989, The Shipyard, A Small Town, Peasants, Disco Polo, Miss Polonia, High Life and Depression.
