Edmund Kupiecki, Warszawa. Krajobraz i architektura (1963)

The album mainly contains black-and-white photographs of Warsaw risen from the rubble of war. They show the Old Town and other rebuilt historical sites, modern urban layouts and completed architectural projects, bearing witness to a dynamically developing capital. A great many of the photos are panoramic bird’s-eye views, intensifying the portrayed monumentalism of the city.
