Adam Lach, Nibyland (2016)

An album of black-and-white photojournalism presenting the daily lives, work and play of the residents of the west-central Polish town of Września and its environs. The photographs were taking using a powerful flash. They are presented together with poems by a twelve-year-old girl, Nadia Smolarkiewicz, from the nearby village of Węgierki.
The book was created under the Kolekcja Wrzesińska (Wrzesińska Collection) project. It was named Photobook of the Year in the 2017 Grand Press Photo competition.
