Andrzej J. Lech, Kolekcja wrzesińska 2010 (2011)

The album presents seventy-one group portraits taken by Lech in the west-central town of Września. The subjects are active associations, local personalities and professional and social groups. The photographs were taken using a large-format camera, 7x17" negatives and 1:1 prints, creating a social record with a formal dimension which contains echoes of nineteenth- and twentieth- century photographic studios.
The book was the second to be created under the Kolekcja Wrzesińska (Wrzesińska Collection) project. It was singled out for two commendations, for the publisher and graphic design, in the 2011 Most Beautiful Books of the Year competition.
