We create a micro-community of enthusiasts and researchers of Central European photography. We consider historical and contemporary photography to be an inspiring space for artistic reflection and a mirror of geopolitics and everyday life.
We conduct open, engaging searches for non-obvious and untold stories in various environments. We work to develop publishing culture, shape curatorial, collecting and philanthropic practices.
Fotoklub runs a specialist photographic library, a key part of which is a collection of Polish photobooks. Our activity is club-like and based on a membership system. We have an intimate space for meetings and photographic shows, as well as organizing exhibitions, lectures and presentations outside the Fotoklub headquarters. We actively participate in current photographic life – we visit the most important exhibitions, fairs and festivals in Poland and around the world, and we publish reports from them on the Instagram channel.
