The album presents one hundred and thirty postcard photographs from the nineteen seventies and eighties. They were taken by professional photographers and they depict Polish holiday centres, swimming pools, parks and housing estates constructed from vast concrete slabs. The book was compiled by way of archival searches through the diapositives of the former, state-run Krajowa Agencja Wydawnicza (National Publishing Agency; KAW).
