Zygmunt Gloger, Białowieża w albumie (1903)

This is a work with an educational note, intended for the general public. Amply illustrated with photos, it was published as a memoir of a trip to the primaeval Białowieża Forest in eastern Poland and what is now Belarus. The trip was taken in 1882 in the company of journalist, novelist and, later, Nobel prize winner Henryk Sienkiewicz. The book, which is dedicated to him, was complied and published twenty years after the expedition. The photographs were taken no earlier than 1894/1895.
